As an FPA Professional Practice, Bastion Financial Group, is now eligible to use FPA Professional Practice branding in their offices, on the company website and marketing literature to clearly differentiate the practice.
To qualify for FPA Professional Practice status, businesses undergo a rigorous screening process and are required to meet the following requirements:
- Over 75 per cent of financial planners must be FPA members
- Over 50 per cent of financial planners must be CFP® professionals or will be within three years.
As an FPA Professional Practice, Bastion Financial Group, will also undergo regular audits and surveys as part of the FPA Quality Practice Assurance Program to ensure it continues to meet the high standards set by the FPA.
David Benney, CFP® of Bastion Financial Group, said:
“We are very excited by the opportunity to become an FPA Professional Practice. We are always striving to deliver the highest quality of advice and find new and better ways to deliver an outstanding client experience. Becoming an FPA Professional Practice provides both existing and potential clients the confidence that they are dealing with a financial planning business of the highest quality.”
FPA CEO, Dante De Gori CFP® said “The FPA Professional Practice program recognises quality financial planning practices that are providing the highest quality financial advice in their community.”
“With only one in five Australians seeking financial advice, we are working hard to address this gap by increasing consumer trust in financial planning. Consumers don’t know where to turn for advice they can rely on. If they look for a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional or an FPA Professional Practice, this is a perfect place to start. Currently there are over 300 FPA Professional Practices across Australia, and this number is continually growing,” he said.
The FPA invests heavily in advertising campaigns designed to further promote the FPA brand as a mark of trust to all consumers. To find out more about the FPA Professional Practice program visit fpa.com.au/professionalpractice
