Bastion Financial Group Director in line for national award

Bastion Financial Group (BFG)  Director, Naomi Mee-Martino has been named a finalist for the “FPA Certified Financial Planner® Professional of the Year” in the 2021 FPA Awards.

Ms Mee-Martino is one of only four finalists from across Australia to be nominated for the award, with winners to be announced in November 2021.

Having formed BFG with business partner David Benney in 2019, Ms Mee- Martino said being named a finalist for the prestigious industry award was a reflection on the client first, goals-based advice the company provides.

“For too long the reputation of the financial planning industry has been tarnished by too few,” Ms Mee Martino said.

“It is important we continue to celebrate the virtues of our industry by highlighting the positive difference we can make to the lives of our clients.”

Ms Mee-Martino said through careful planning and consideration of personal circumstances, BFG advises their high net worth and business owner clients around wealth management structures, asset protection, legacy planning and investment strategies.

“We live in an era, where time has become the most valued commodity for many of our clients,” Ms Mee-Martino said.

“At BFG, we take great pride in helping clients build and preserve their financial future, so they can then find the time to enjoy the things they love, knowing their long-term financial security has been assured.

Ms Mee-Martino said she was incredibly humbled to be named a finalist in the 2021 FPA Awards.

“These awards provide a great platform to showcase the very best of the financial services industry,” Ms Mee-Martino said.

“It is a great honour to be recognised among a group of professionals dedicated to helping people achieve their financial goals.”
